I´m going just to explain a little about Mammi. She is a pekingese from dog show lines. It could sound quiet stupid, but I had been looking for a puppy liker her almost 7 years, since I bought my first pekingese, Imperio and I fell in love with this breed.
Here in Spain is quiet impossible find a quality pekingese, or even a normal one, here you cannot find one because is a almost extict breed. The breeders that had pekingese in the past are not breeding now. It is not on fashion. And I really like it more, but find a pekingese in Spain could be stressing and frustating.
Finally I decided look outside Spain, I was writing to many breeders, that I considered they have quality dogs. It was also difficult, but in 8 months I received the new of one litter in Estonia, from Marina Roos, of Terasroos kennel, they had a girl that could be for me!!!
Thank to Marina and youtube I have seen her growing up. When she had 4 months, I picked her up in Tallinn. I spent 4 days visiting her family, and, of course, the city. It was an amazing and incredible trip. I couldn´t believe my eyes when I saw her the first time! She was real!! So many time waiting and finally there she was. The experience was GREAT, and Marina and her family were wonderful hosts.
The trip to Spain was hard, 4 hours by plane, and also 1 bus and 1 train to Barcelona city, and the next day 8 hours taking two trains. I was worry about her trip time but Mammi had a incredible behavior. She was quiet and slepping, also she knows to pee and poo in a diaper on the floor. So each 1,5 hours we were in the toilet and she done everything there. The trip was hard but she taught me that a puppy is more stronger and clever than we could think.
When we arrived to our new home, also new for me, I waited some days to start her training, the house training of course since the first day. I discovered that she likes a lot to meet new people and animals. She is very sociable and she likes go outside to walk, or more exactly, to run jumping.
The people ask me if she is a cat, a bunny or a dog. None has seen a dog like her before, and I have to say that I´m quiet tired to have to talk with someone every some steps. But she is socializing and I think it is a good training for her future.
From this blog I have to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH to Marina Roos, her breeder, for give me this little sweet girl, and the opportunity to share my time with her.
I hope you enjoy this blog!!
Thank you for visiting me and Mammi!
